There are hundreds of Rousseau products out there so you may be unsure of how much weight your particular product is capable of supporting. So here's a little guide to help you find out the capacity of your Rousseau fixed workstation.
All of the following capacities have been tested on 72" W x 30" D products and are categorized by the type of top. These figures are valid for all workstations of this size or smaller. Please also note that the stated capacities apply to tops manufactured and supplied by Rousseau only. The weights assume that the load is evenly distributed over the workstation surface. This load should include the weight of additional accessories. Furthermore, all applicable models must be assembled according to the recommendations in the assembly guide.
To find the capacity of your product, you'll need two pieces of information:

Configuration 1: Basic workstations
This workstation includes open or closed legs and may include a stringer, a footrest, corner gussets, leg extensions and/or leveling glides.

Configuration 7: Counter with one or more cabinets
This configuration includes one or more cabinets with or without a base and a painted steel, stainless steel, laminate, wood or galvanized steel top. This type of configuration has a compressive capacity of 2000 lb. on each cabinet.
