Finisher (Evening Shift)

Production

Opportunity description

Finishers work as a team in a dynamic environment and perform the final steps in the production process. A role that requires versatility, it involves hanging/removing parts on the paint line and assembling components to prepare products according to the customers specifications.

Skills and education
  • High school diploma (DES)
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset

Press Brake Operator (Evening Shift)

Opportunity description

Brake operators perform programming and installation of different brake machines (conventional and digitally controlled), as well as produce parts conforming to drawings and specifications needed for production.

Skills and education
  • DEP/SSVD in sheet metal precision machining or machining techniques, or DES / secondary school diploma with experience in brake machine operation

Mechanical Engineering

Engineering/R&D

Opportunity description

  • Participate in and/or lead projects such as:
    • Integration of new equipment;
    • Retrofits on existing equipment/infrastructure;
    • Development of manufacturing or tooling templates;
  • Contribute to the control of manufacturing processes (developing technical expertise);
  • Collaborate in product development;
  • Contribute to the development phases and production process of new products (design, qualification testing, technical research, etc.).
  • Skills and education

    • Baccalauréat or similar in mechanical engineering;
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment;
    • Knowledge of Solid Edge software an asset;
    • Bilingual an asset.

Production Coordinators (Evening Shift)

Opportunity description

Production Coordinators supervise all plant operations, including human resources and equipment operations (health and safety, human resources management, administration, quality control, regulations, etc.).
They also identify requirements and make recommendations related to production methods and equipment to constantly improve production practices.

Skills and education
  • DEC/DCS in industrial engineering or manufacturing;
  • Relevant experience in production management and supervision within a metal products manufacturing company;

Shipping/Receiving Team Leader (Evening shift)

Production

Opportunity description

Shipping/Receiving Team Leaders supervise the department's day-to-day operations and allocate resources according to the planning schedule.
They ensure returned goods are inspected and tracked, and liaise with shipping agents to organize loading and collection. They also perform storekeeping tasks.

Skills and education
  • Secondary school diploma;
  • Minimum five years' experience within a metal products manufacturing company;
  • Very good knowledge of IT tools and English (oral and written);
  • Experience within a Shipping/Receiving department an asset.
