ALERION SUPERMILEAGE

Rousseau has sponsored this team of students from Laval University since 2009. Their goal is to produce the most economical single-seater vehicle possible. Alerion Supermileage actually holds the North American record for gas consumption efficiency for this type of vehicle. They have made a single liter of gas last for 1,525 km! Rousseau is very proud to support this team's projects and its participation in international competitions.

Rousseau is proud to have been working with Festidrag since 2019 to help the development of young and talented Canadian motorsport competitors, on and off the track. 2021 drivers: Alex Labbé, Gabriel Boisvert, Nicolas Côté, Raphaël Lessard, Samuel Charland, Thomas Coté, Jean-Philippe Bergerons Bergeron, Andrew Ranger and JF Launier. .

Chinook ÉTS

Chinook ÉTS

The Chinook ÉTS team develops and manufactures vehicles fueled by wind energy. These students combine their experience and knowledge every year to achieve great results in international competitions. Rousseau contributes to their success by providing storage products for these events.

Club Capra

Club Capra

Capra is a science club comprising students from École de technologie supérieure in Montreal. Their project involves designing and building autonomous ground vehicles that can move around in unknown territory. Club Capra helps its members improve their skills and knowledge in their chosen field of study. Rousseau proudly supports Club Capra!

Dronolab

Dronolab

Dronolab ÉTS is a 30-member team that develops an unmanned aerial vehicle system. The students take part in two competitions a year: USC and AUVSI SUAV. They experiment, develop and use different technologies to meet the various demands and scenarios presented to them by the judges of these competitions.

EMUS

EMUS (Electric Motorcycle of University of Sherbrooke)

After the EMUS student club from Université de Sherbrooke approached us about sponsorship for their equipment needs, we were immediately excited by their project. EMUS (Electric Motorcycle of Université de Sherbrooke) comprises a group of engineering students whose goal is to design and produce a competitive electric motorcycle. Their values, particularly their commitment to innovation and team work, align with Rousseau's values.

Formula CVM Motorsports

Formula CVM Motorsports

Consisting of engineering students from the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, the CVM Motorsports project aims to design, build and test prototype cars for amateur racing drivers. Each year, the FSAE competition tests their car's performance against those of other schools. Rousseau helps the team achieve success by providing products that ensure their work environments are tidy and efficient.

LP Lauzier

Louis-Philippe Lauzier

Rousseau is proud to support the racing driver Louis-Philippe Lauzier. Despite his young age, he already has six years' experience racing cars. After climbing through the ranks, he started racing in the Série Sportsman Québec in 2018. He finished the season with a victory in the last race, fourth in the overall rankings, the title of Recruit of the Year and the title of “driver par excellence.” Louis-Phillipe's next goal is to achieve first place in the rankings. We will certainly be watching his progress with interest in the years to come.

Mutrac

Mutrac is a project involving students from the Bioresource Engineering Department at McGill University. Their goal is to build miniature tractors and compare their performance to other tractors built by students of North American universities. Rousseau proudly supports this group of students by providing them with storage products for their competitions.

Since 2009, the Poly eRacing team from Polytechnique Montréal has been building single-seater electric vehicles to compete in international Formula SAE competitions. As well as taking part in these events, the project also aims to create a new generation of skilled engineers who respect the environment. Rousseau is proud to support these engineers of tomorrow.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan

Rahal Letterman Lanigan

With more than 20 years in the field of motor racing, the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team takes part in many events every year, including the popular Indianapolis 500. Bobby Rahal, one of the co-owners of the racing team, was crowned champion of the event in 1986. Rousseau is now the official toolbox supplier for Rahal Letterman Lanigan.

SAE Avion Cargo - École Polytechnique de Montréal

Rousseau is a proud sponsor of Avion Cargo. The Avion Cargo team designs and builds remote-controlled aircraft to participate in SAE's Aerodesign competitions. These students from École Polytechnique de Montréal aim to make the most efficient aircraft possible and carrying the largest payload. New challenges are presented to the team every year, which they tackle with relish.

SAE Baja - École Polytechnique de Montréal

The École polytechnique de Montréal SAE Baja team—or Mudbees—designs, manufactures, assembles and tests single-seater prototype vehicles. They are designed to withstand the worst possible driving conditions, which the team has to face every year at the SAE's Mini-Baja competition. Rousseau proudly supports this project, which promotes not only vehicle manufacture, but also management skills, team work, attention to detail and other useful skills for the labour market.

Since 2017 Rousseau has been supporting and encouraging the efforts of this group of engineering students from Université Concordia who compete in various international competitions (Baja - all-terrain vehicles, Formula Combustion, Formula Electric, Supermileage - fuel efficient vehicles). Rousseau proudly provides specialized storage products for the team.

Simon Dion-Viens

Simon Dion-Viens

Rousseau has been sponsoring Simon Dion-Viens for several years. A racing driver for over 10 years, he was crowned GT-1 Champion of Quebec in 2008, 2009 and 2010, as well as Canadian Touring Car series runner-up in the B-Spec class in 2012. Simon Dion-Viens uses Rousseau products in competitions across Canada.

Skills Canada

Skills Canada promotes careers in the skilled trades and technology sectors via national, provincial and territorial competitions right across the country annually. Every second year is a qualifying year for the WorldSkills Competition. The top winners in 29 Skill Areas have a chance to try out to become part of WorldSkills Team Canada and compete in the WorldSkills Competition where they go head to head against top competitors from around the world. Rousseau is proud to help young people stretch themselves and excel.

uBC Rocket

UBC Rocket is a student engineering design team at the University of British Columbia dedicated to the design, manufacture and launch of suborbital rockets. The team takes part in several international competitions. Rousseau has sponsored UBC Rocket for a couple of years now and provides storage products for their equipment.
